Three destinations, one operating standard

Coverage is not a map with pins on it. It is whether a contracted operator can staff your group on your dates. This section is written to let you judge that before you commit a client.

Where we operate, and where we do not

We cover three destinations properly rather than fifteen nominally. A destination appears here only when a contracted DMC holds the agreement, our standard applies, and we can staff a group without subcontracting to somebody we have not audited.

DestinationPractical group ceilingStrongest forWeakest for
Phu QuocAbout 200Beach incentives, island programmes, gala on sand, visa-free international arrivalsLarge plenary sessions; the island's function space is limited relative to its room stock
Da NangAbout 300Conferences with genuine breakout capacity, mixed programmes, heritage evening in Hoi AnA single-property programme above 300; the beach season is narrower than most planners assume
Ha Long BayAbout 200Overnight cruise incentives, an evening nobody forgets, small senior offsitesAnything needing breakout rooms or reliable connectivity; capacity is limited by vessel, not by hotel
What 'no coverage' means in practice

Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are not on this list. We can arrange arrival handling, a transfer and a city dinner in both as part of a programme that runs elsewhere, and we say so plainly in the quote. We do not present ourselves as a full DMC in a city where we hold no contracted operator. If your client's programme is genuinely Hanoi-based, another supplier will serve you better.

The bands are the same six we use in every rate sheet, so a quote in one destination is directly comparable with a quote in another at the same band and programme length.

The threshold that catches out the most partners

In every destination there is a headcount where per-person cost stops falling and steps back up — a coach seats 45, a ballroom fills, a vessel runs out of cabins. Do not interpolate a rate between two bands to build a client budget. Ask for the figure at the actual committed headcount.

Destination programmes

Per destination

What each of the three actually does well. Phu Quoc · Da Nang · Ha Long Bay

Multi-destination

20 – 200

Two destinations in one programme. Adds an internal flight and a day; often worth it for a five-day incentive.

Common questions

Questions partners ask most

Can you deliver a programme in a destination not listed here?

Not as a DMC. We would be subcontracting to an operator we do not hold a contract with, and the standard we sell would not apply. Rather than take the booking and hope, we will tell you it is outside our coverage.

Which destination should we propose to a client who has not decided?

Ask what the evening is for. If it is an awards ceremony that has to land, Ha Long Bay or a Phu Quoc beach gala. If there is real working content, Da Nang. If the group is international and visa handling matters, Phu Quoc. The guide sets this out properly.

Do the three destinations share a season?

No, and it is the single most useful thing to know about Vietnam. The country spans enough latitude that peak in one destination is shoulder in another. The cross-destination calendar.

Can we combine two destinations?

Yes. Da Nang with Ha Long Bay works well for a five-day programme; Phu Quoc pairs less naturally because the flight routing is longer. Budget an internal flight and half a day of movement.
